nameprobe.com wasn't originally purchased for this project — it was actually a domain I accidentally bought.

After the purchase, I discovered that the domain had already been blocked by the Indonesian government (Kominfo) due to activity from a previous owner.

Since the domain couldn't be used normally and would always display a government block page inside Indonesia, I decided to reuse it for something meaningful.

Why This Domain Is Perfect for MITM Testing

Blocked domains behave differently on different ISPs, networks, and regions — making them ideal for detecting:

• Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) injections
• ISP-level manipulation
• Transparent proxies
• Forced redirects
• DNS tampering
• Injected scripts or banners

Because of this, nameprobe.com is now repurposed as the testing endpoint for the HaveIBeenMITM tool.
